AquaCure Diary: A Rough Start

From the moment I decided to do this AquaCure experiment to improve my health, I felt different in an unexplainable way.  It was as if a spiritual bookmark had been placed on me by the universe that said, “You have committed to this decision … and I hear you!”  I knew there was an invisible force behind me and I only had to listen and act when guided.

The start date for my experiment was off a few days when I decided to purchase a card for a friend.  As I approached the outside sales table on the porch of a Victorian bookstore, my attention was drawn to a book called Why Don’t I Do the Things I Know are Good for Me? … Taking Small Steps Toward Improving the Big Picture, then, in less than a minute as I stepped in the front door, another book appeared Mindful Eating:  A Guide to Rediscovering a Healthy and Joyful Relationship with Food.

I immediately knew the universe was talking to me and that I was starting on that healthy road a bit early. I grabbed up the books. Bought them. And took the books home to read.

The night before my AquaCure experiment was to start, I set my alarm for a little earlier so I could weigh-in, do some Qi Gong, pack a nutritious lunch, and perform the water ritual.  But life got in the way.

This morning, I turned on my computer to view my list of affirmations and it went bonkers @?%$!^#, moving at a snail’s pace … and this is a Mac?

I ended up spending half my precious time working on the computer as Qi Gong and the pre-packed nutritious lunch fell by the wayside.  I finally gave up on the mechanical and turned to the spiritual. Inside myself I thought about “What I wanted to say to the water” instead of reading it from a script. Then I drank the love, peace, gratitude, health infused water.

My plan for a smooth start felt more like a baby step – similar to a toddler just beginning to walk, I was unsteady, fell down, and had to pick myself up.

My body had the usual aches and pains and my eyes were burning, probably from the high pollen count in the air; but, when I arrived at work there was a pleasant surprise.

You gotta understand, I work at a place that has been analogized to an adolescent high school atmosphere.  So I was stunned when a person who hardly speaks to me came up and said, “I want to thank you for being the only positive person at the meeting that I hosted last week!”  It felt good to hear that.  My spirit is beginning to shine.

We’ll see what other amazing feats are revealed in the coming weeks.
